Customer Reviews

The only reason we have been going to the movies at all lately is the 3-D. We do not enjoy the cost, or the loud people with their cell phones bothering us. When my husband's back injury got so bad that we are really not able to go to the movies at all, it became time to upgrade. We bought these glasses along with a 60 inch LG 3D TV and a new LG Blu-Ray player and we got it all set up, it was very fast and easy to set up, and headed down to get a couple of 3D movies.
The glasses hook up to a USB port for charging. Since we purchased 3 pairs, we had them plugged in all over the house, and were very glad when our 11 year old noticed that when we shut off the TV or DVD player (we were using their USB ports) that the glasses stopped charging. We turned the products back on, and things continued to charge. It took less than 2 hours.
The glasses are lightweight but do not feel clunky. At first my eyes felt a little strained, but that went away within a few minutes. I did not experience a headache.
The glasses did lose sync probably 5 or 6 times during Alice in Wonderland and 2 times during Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (watched one each night to make sure we were not straining our eyes.) Luckily the red light flashes and you press the button and you sync right back up. Funny enough, my daughter and I seemed to lose sync at the same time while my husband lost his at different times.
The 3D was, honestly, AMAZING We enjoy both the old time 3D tricks where things poke out at you and the newer 3D effects where it brings depth to the whole film. I loved it. I cannot say enough how much we loved this experience!
Oh, and one other note, the nose piece flips up for people with glasses. For the first movie both my husband and I were trying to get them glasses on more comfortably, but once we read the little insert from our TV and saw that we could flip the nosepiece up, they fit just perfectly!

I usually don't write reviews but because other customers reviews were so helpful to me I wanted to respond in kind.
When I ordered my Plasma TV from Amazon it came with 2 pairs of 3D AG-S250 glasses. After reading many of the problems with the glasses shutting down after 10 min I contacted Amazon and asked them if they could be sure to send me the new firmware model Version 0.64. I had read where the version 0.63 was having all the problems and LG came out with the Ver.0.64 to fix the problem. Well Amazon told me they would put a note in my order but couldn't guarantee that I would get them. Well I received the older model, so I sent them back with no problem and they said they would try again but they really have no contact with the warehouse's that send out the products. Again I was sent the older model. This time I contacted LG customer service and explained my problem to them. At first the gentleman I talked to said he couldn't help me but I reminded him about the warranty of their product and he went to talk to his supervisor. When he came back he told me he would send me the 2 new pair and a return label for the ones I had. At first I received only one of the new pair from them and no return label. I called them back and gave them the case number they had given me. They found me in their computer and told me they would send me the other pair which they did. I also got the free return shipping label so I could send them the older glasses. They sent me a email stating they were sorry for any problems I had and told me to contact their Swap Department if I have any questions at 1-800-243-0000 ext 2093. Hope this helps anyone that is having problems with their glasses.
